The school consists of the Creche, Nursery and Primary classes and it is situated in a good and serene environment with well equipped and multimedia classes. We believe that every child is unique, therefore we personalized education for every child. Our academic system is well-structured, dynamic and comprehensive with efficient teaching methodology, offering world-class curricula and cutting edge technological tools to prepare our pupils for educational successes in life. We have an exclusive British oriented school with a blend of Nigerian curriculum.
Our Pre School
Principles Schools Pre-School, which includes, the Creche and Play Group has been structured to achieve sound academic excellence with faith and belief in the Almighty God. Principles per-school section is specially designed to laying the right foundation for the children. We admit children of 18 months to 5 years with no discrimination to religion, culture or ethnic background. All our pupils follow an adapted form of the British method of child education to help our young children achieve their full potential and move on to primary class.
We provide formative activities for the pupils within a conducive environment to the children to learn and develop naturally with the teachers guiding them. In Principles pre-school section, we strongly believe that children of pre-school years need to be given full nurturing, love and attention in preparing them for excellence in life. Our pre-school policy emphasizes the need for exciting, relevant and challenging lessons to motivate the children to learning.
We also incorporate activities like Art, Music, Computer and Outdoor Plays for the child’s total development. In our classrooms we use appropriate age activities and learning tools, to create flexible environment to meet the needs and interests of every child.
The Primary Classes
In Principles primary classes, we admit children of ages between 5 to 11 years. We are highly committed to serving these children committed to our care with love, care and the fear of God. We adopt the best teaching and learning methodology that is child-centered to prepare the pupils for the future in a serene and conducive learning environment. In our primary classes, we aim to achieve effectiveness in core learning skills of writing, reading and oral communications.
All primary school subjects are taught in the school classes. The subjects offered and covered in our primary classes include:- Art, English, French, Geography, History, Information and Communication Technology, Music, Mathematics, Nigeria Cultural Studies, Physical Education and Science.
