About Principles Schools
Principles Nursery and Primary School is a fully registered independent co-educational day school for pupils. It has been established to achieve sound academic excellence with faith and belief in the Almighty God. It is a school where knowledge is being imparted and skills and right attitudes necessary for children to grow in life are developed.
Principles School was founded by the Proprietress, Pastor Mrs Tumi Olubode on September 13th 2010, lies in the heart of the beautiful part of Oluyole Estate in Ibadan, Nigeria. It started as a creche and continued like that for many years until the nursery and primary classes were introduced and approved.
The harmonious environment, in which the School is situated, is an ideal setting to cater for the needs of all our pupils. The school is housed in a purpose built block with modern and spacious classrooms, each with its own character.
The school has five sections: Crèche, Nursery and Primary.
Within our beautiful grounds, the school offers excellent facilities and resources. The Christian ethos of the school permeates its infrastructure. Pupils at Principles Schools are given wholesome training academically, socially and spiritually for the child's total development

Babies and toddlers are cared for in small groups to ensure that their every need is attended to. Each child is seen as an individual with special unique qualities. We therefore aim to develop and enhance learning through experience and educational play. Babies and the nursery nurses relate on a personal level. They are much loved and are kept busy and active throughout the day both indoors and outside to ensure a happy and fun packed caring environment.
Babies and toddlers become very sociable, fun and adventure, socializing and engaging are the main aims in our Crèche.
Parents are expected to provide sufficient food for the baby for the course of the day. Extra information can be obtained from the creche team.
A high standard of hygiene is ensured at all times. All baby equipment is kept clean and well maintained. Cot linen is regularly washed and changed. Babies and toddlers are cared for in a stimulating environment.

Physical Development
We focus on children developing physical control, mobility, awareness of space and manipulative skills in indoor and outdoor environments. They include establishing positive attitudes towards a healthy and active way of life.
CREATIVE DEVELOPMENT
We focus on the development of imagination and the ability to communicate and express ideas and feelings in creative wilys.
Qurchildren explore sound, colour, texture, shape, form and space in two and three dimensions. They respond in a variety of ways to what they see, hear, smell, touch and feel.
Through art, music, dance, stories and imaginative play, they show an increasing ability to use their imagination to listen and to observe. We use a widening range of materials, suitable tools, instruments and other resources for children to express their ideas and communicate their feelings.
